Who can apply?

Requests for support can be made by a primary school within reasonable travelling distance of our provision. Parents or carers wishing to know more, should ask their child’s school to contact us. NB: A child will not be offered a place at GROW if they are undergoing a Statutory Assessment for an EHCP. The place can only be offered once the plan is finalised.

How to apply

Requesting school should complete and return the Request for Support form to PrimarySEMHNE@essex.gov.uk before the deadline (see panel dates below).

The Process

Requests for support are heard by a panel made up of local head teachers, provision leads, inclusion partners and when possible, a SENDOPS representative.

If your request for support is unsuccessful, advice will be given to help you to support your pupil within school.
If your request for support is successful, you will meet the provision team and begin the New Starter process.
