At Braiswick Primary School we value music as a subject that allows all children to be expressive, creative and reflective.

Music can allow children an opportunity to learn more about different cultures and value the opinion of others. Music is a fantastic tool for building confidence and putting smiles on the faces of all who experience it. Our curriculum is designed to engage, motivate and challenge children, and allows them to build the necessary skills to perform, compose and improvise with passion. Children will be given an opportunity to listen to and express an opinion on a wide range of musical genres, as well as experience live performances throughout their school life, giving them an opportunity to appreciate the profound impact music can have on our emotions.
