At Braiswick Primary School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to be creative, express their emotions and connect with others through art.

Art can bring joy, build confidence and help children to understand the world around them. Our curriculum is designed to engage, inspire and challenge children, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for them to express their ideas and experiences in a visual or tactile form. Children will analyse, evaluate and imitate the work of a wide range of artists using the mediums of art, and gain an appreciation of the importance of art in shaping and reflecting our history, culture, and the world around us.
